My Approach to Therapy
My trauma-informed work integrates several depth-oriented approaches that support meaningful and lasting change:
Attachment-Based Therapy
Understanding how early relational experiences influence current relationships.
Psychodynamic Therapy
Exploring the deeper emotional patterns that shape behavior and relationships.
Internal Family Systems (IFS)
Helping clients understand the different internal parts that carry pain, protection, and resilience.
Somatic Therapy
Working with how emotional experiences live in the body and nervous system.
Relational Therapy
Regardless of any other approach, the relational work that happens in the therapy room between therapist and client is one of the most impactful for healing. This is why the right fit is most important.
This integrative approach allows therapy to move beyond insight alone and support deeper emotional and nervous system healing.
Who I Work With
I often work with men and women who are experiencing:
emotional disconnection in long-term relationships
recurring conflict or communication difficulties
feelings of loneliness
perfectionism and high-achieving tendencies
resentment from overfunctioning or overgiving
difficulty expressing needs or setting boundaries
confusing patterns and big emotions
a desire to restore lost identity
confusion or disillusionment as it relates to faith communities and feeling spiritually homeless
a desire for real and lasting change
Many of my clients are in midlife navigating complex relationship dynamics, identity shifts, and emotional exhaustion.

Start by scheduling a free virtual consult using the link below. The purpose of this is to briefly identify what you need from counseling, to make sure we’re a good fit, and to discern if our schedules match.
When we schedule your first session, I will send you “Intake” paperwork through your client portal to be completed in advance.
Additionally, I will send you a welcome email with more details regarding in-person or virtual instructions. Sessions last 50 minutes.

All services are self-pay, and out-of-network with all insurances. I do provide Super-bills for you to submit to your insurance provider when they provide out-of-network benefits. By removing insurance companies and third-party billing, I’m able to focus fully on you — your story, your goals, and the root causes of why you don’t feel your best.

I am an out-of-network (OON) provider for all insurances. If you would like to use your out of network benefits for counseling, please call your insurance company directly and ask about your "out of network coverage for a licensed professional counselor." They can explain your coverage. If it applies, I will gladly provide you with a Superbill to submit to your insurance for reimbursement.
