I see you …

You may be a midlife woman who feels emotionally disconnected in your long-term marriage, frustrated by repeating patterns, or weighed down by unresolved grief, anxiety, or past wounds. Life may feel stuck, relationships challenging, and coping strategies no longer effective. Therapy offers a space to explore how your past shapes your present, access the strengths that feel out of reach, and begin building deeper emotional connection—with yourself and others. You don’t have to navigate these patterns alone.

Julie Kittredge, LPC, CIMHP, NCC

All those letters just mean I’ve received the required training to see clients as a licensed counselor. What they don’t show are the years of personal heart work I’ve engaged that I also bring into our therapeutic work together. “You can’t take someone where you yourself have not gone,” is a phrase I’ve taken to heart with ongoing training and personal work.

This is a collaborative journey. I’m going to come alongside you individually or as a couple as you share your story, feelings, and experiences with me. I will engage our work with compassion and curiosity. I will offer connections and insights. As you bring your heart to the room, we’ll work together to recover what makes you one-of-a-kind so that you can engage your life with greater insight and wholeness.

My integrative approach uses psychodynamic, narrative, attachment, somatic, and strength-based frameworks. I believe mental health is influenced by the whole person (mind, body, spirit) so I’m able to incorporate faith/spirituality and nutritionally integrative (gut health/brain health) approaches if either of those feel supportive to you.

  • Start by scheduling a free virtual consult using the link below. The purpose of this is to briefly identify what you need from counseling, to make sure I am a good fit, and to discern if our schedules match.

When we schedule your first session, I will send you “Intake” paperwork through your client portal to be completed in advance.

Additionally, I will send you a welcome email with more details regarding in-person or virtual instructions. Sessions last 50 minutes.

  • I am seeing clients in-person in Fort Collins, CO, and virtually for anyone residing in Colorado.

At this time, I am only able to provide counseling to those living in the state of Colorado.

Address: 523 Remington St. , Fort Collins, CO, 80524

  • My rate for a 50 minute appointment is $155. All services are self-pay. You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your mental health care will cost. Under the law, health care providers need to give clients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services.

You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services.

You can ask us, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.

For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call (800) 985-3059. To receive a Good Faith Estimate from me please use the contact form under the "Contact" tab and specifically ask for a Good Faith Estimate of Services.

  • I am an out-of-network (OON) provider for all insurances. If you would like to use your out of network benefits for counseling, please call your insurance company directly and ask about your "out of network coverage for a licensed professional counselor." They can explain your coverage. If it applies, I will gladly provide you with a Superbill to submit to your insurance for reimbursement.

Reach out for more info about working with me.

A Little bit about my story

I am an artist and entrepreneur at heart with a history of creative businesses ranging from portrait drawings and professional photography, to fulfilling a lifelong dream of working with ceramics.

Throughout the creative years, I also engaged in the heart work of personal therapy as I navigated confusing relational patterns and beliefs that kept me from living in the fullness of who I am. My quest to learn, change, and grow led me to new passions surrounding mental health and its relationships with emotional, physical, relational, and spiritual health. I believe we are created to live a one-of-a-kind life but it’s easy to get stuck in a place we were never meant to be and in relational patterns that need to change. The personal therapeutic work I’ve done has been transforming, and I want to give that life-giving gift to others with compassion and grace for the journey.

In my free time, I love art and culture, live music, climbing mountains, camping, paddleboarding, reading, writing, learning, deep friendships, spending time with my grown children, and of course, coffee.

I have three big kids ranging in age from late teen to young adults. I’m a 7 on the enneagram, so naturally I love adventure, celebration, and friendship. My story of hardship, relational brokenness, and determined soul care has brought me here. I’m a fellow traveler, and it would be a privilege to walk with you in your journey of becoming.
